Catechesis in "The Six Cheif Parts of Christian Doctrine" as set forth planly in Luther's Small Catehcism is offered to our children, thirteen and fourteen years of age. These "six chief parts" are as follows:

The 10 Commandments
The Apostles' Creed
The Lord's Prayer
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism
The Sacrament of Holy Absolution
The Sacrament of Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper)

This is a two-year course, with each grade (7th and 8th) meeting in its own class once each week during the regular school season.

All children who successfully complete this course are elligible for confirmation and full membership in our church.
